Trains between London Charing Cross and Hastings

Description

Following a fault with the signalling system between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up 15 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 17:00.

What's happened?

There was a fault with the signalling system at Tunbridge Wells. Our engineers have attended and have now fixed the issue.

How does this affect my journey?

The line has now re-opened - the first train to run through from London Charing Cross to Hastings will be the 15:15 (16:09 from Tunbridge Wells).

Unfortunately the first train from Hastings to London via Tunbridge Wells won't be until 17:30.

What should I do?

You can use your ticket on Stagecoach buses - route 1066 - between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings at no extra cost to complete your journey as well as Arriva buses between Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge at no extra cost to complete your journey.

Alternatively, you can use Southern services from London Victoria to Hastings, again at no extra cost - if you travel this way, you can use your ticket on the London Underground between London Charing Cross / London Bridge and London Victoria at no cost.
