Trains between Edinburgh and Tweedbank

Description

Following a trespass incident between Edinburgh and Tweedbank all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, delayed or revised.

Disruptions is expected until 19:00.

Customer advice:

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on:

  • Alternate ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination

  • Lothian Transport between Edinburgh and Gorebridge in both directions

  • Borders Buses (West Coast Motors) between Edinburgh and Tweedbank in both directions

Rail replacement will run as follows:

  • 1x 35 seater, provided by Blue Bus, confirmed at Edinburgh at 18:15

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
