Description
Following an object being caught on the overhead wires in the Wakefield Westgate area, all lines have now reopened. As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, or revised.
Disruption is expected until 15:00.
LNER customer advice:
You can use your ticket at no extra cost on alternate LNER services to and from York.
You can also use your tickets on Northern and TransPennine Express services between York and Leeds.
Northern customer advice:
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
