Description

Damage to the overhead electric wires between Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster means the lines towards Doncaster are blocked. Trains running between Leeds and Doncaster may be cancelled, delayed by to 20 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Services between Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster are currently being disrupted due to damage to the overhead electric wires.

How does this affect my journey?

Train services are currently unable to run between Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster (in this direction only). However, services in both directions will be subject to disruption due to the displacement of trains.

Services between Leeds and Doncaster will be affected by this disruption.

Northern services between Leeds and Sheffield via Wakefield Westgate are not affected by this disruption.
