Northern between Leeds / Adwick and Doncaster, and also between Sheffield and Adwick
Description
Theft of signalling cables between Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster means all lines are blocked between these stations. As a result of this, trains between Leeds and Doncaster will be cancelled or revised.
Some LNER services between Leeds and London Kings Cross are diverting away from the affected area to run between York and London Kings Cross instead, not calling at Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster.
Disruption is expected until 12:00.

Advice for Northern customers:
Train services are unable to run between Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster.
Northern services between Leeds and Sheffield via Moorthorpe are not affected, and customers may use these services to help you complete your journey.

You can travel on the following operators and routes at no extra cost:
LNER between Doncaster and York
TransPennine services between York and Leeds, and also between Doncaster and Meadowhall (to connect with alternative Northern services between Meadowhall and Leeds)
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
Road transport:
Road transport has been requested to operate between Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster. An update will be provided once operators and timings have been confirmed.
Journey times will be extended whilst travelling by road transport.
