Lines reopened between Salisbury and Warminster: disruption expected until 18:15

Description

All lines have reopened following an earlier safety inspection of the track between Salisbury and Warminster. However, trains still have to run at reduced speed in the affected area. As a result of this, trains running between these stations may still be cancelled, delayed or revised.

Disruption is expected until 18:15.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on South Western Railway services between Salisbury and Basingstoke in both directions.

Rail replacement transport has been requested. More information will be provided once this is confirmed in place.

If your train is cancelled, you may travel on either of the two services before, or two services after, your original train. If these are peak services or less flexible, you can still travel with your original ticket, at no extra cost.
