Can you tell me more about the incident?

Unfortunately, we've been advised of a problem with the electrical supply to the trains in the Hertford North area. This means that some services can't move as normal until power is restored.

Network Rail and local electricity suppliers are working to make sure the power is restored. Until this is done, we expect there will be delays and changes to services in the area.

If you're on a train which is being held in the area, it may take longer for us to get you to the next station, and onwards to your destination. Please listen out for information from the crew or contact us on social media if you need further support with your journey.

Check before you travel:

You can check your journey using the National Rail real-time Journey Planner.

Compensation:

You may be entitled to compensation if you experience a delay in completing your journey today. Please keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim.
