Description

A fault with the signalling system at Wellington is causing disruption to journeys through this station. As a result, trains running between Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton may be cancelled.

This is expected until 12:00.

Customer advice:

West Midlands Railway are reducing the number of trains on this route to a maximum of three trains per hour. This will help prevent gridlock and keep the remaining services moving.

Rail replacement transport:

Rail replacement buses have been arranged to shuttle between Wolverhampton and Shrewsbury, calling at all stations. These will be operated by JKT International, Brit Coaches, Q&S Coaches and Coastal Liner. All coaches from these operators are fully accessible.

These are expected to commence at 07:30 and operate until 12:00. At 12:00, the disruption will then be re-evaluated. Your ticket can be used on these services at no extra cost.
