Between Glasgow Central and Wemyss Bay

Description

A fault with the signalling system between Inverkip and Branchton means that all lines are closed. As a result, trains will not run between Port Glasgow and Wemyss Bay.

Trains will be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 20:30.

Customer advice:

Trains between Glasgow Central and Wemyss Bay will terminate and start back from Port Glasgow.

Services between Glasgow Central and Gourock will continue as normal.

You can use your ticket at no extra cost on McGills Buses numbers 531, 532 and 901 between Port Glasgow and Wemyss Bay.

You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on ScotRail services via any alternative route to your destination.

If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
