Description

All lines have now reopened following earlier overrunning engineering works between Clapham Junction and Shepherds Bush. As service recovers, some trains between these stations may continue to be cancelled or revised.

Disruption is expected until 09:30.

London Overground customer advice:

You may use your ticket at no extra cost on the following services:

• London Buses via any reasonable route

• South Western Railway between Richmond and Clapham Junction

Southern customer advice:

You may still need to use an alternative route to travel between Clapham Junction and Shepherds Bush and allow at least 20 minutes more time to complete your journey.

The first trains to run as booked will be the:

• 09:22 Clapham Junction to Shepherds Bush service

• 09:45 Shepherds Bush to Clapham Junction service

Engineering works earlier this morning were taking longer than planned in the Shepherds Bush area.

Network Rail are responsible for railway engineering works. These are designed to maintain and improve the infrastructure, and this can include the track itself, the signals or the points at junctions. Staff will also routinely attend to trees and vegetation by the track, station platforms, electrical supplies and many other parts of the railway.
