Description

A fault with the signalling system between Stratford (London) and Whitechapel is causing disruption to journeys on some routes.

Services are suspended on the following routes:

  • Abbey Wood and London Paddington

  • Stratford and Whitechapel

Disruption is expected until 16:00.

Customer advice:

Engineers have been arranged to attend the location of the fault.

Please allow for short notice alterations and platform changes and listen to Elizabeth line station announcements or ask a member of staff for further information.

Tickets will be accepted on the following routes at no extra cost:

  • Greater Anglia between Shenfield and London Liverpool Street

  • London Buses via any reasonable route

  • London Underground via any reasonable route

  • Southeastern between Abbey Wood and London Terminals

  • Thameslink between Abbey Wood and Farringdon


Services between Shenfield and London Paddington / Heathrow Terminal 5 services will start / terminate at London Liverpool Street.

Passengers travelling to Central London are advised to continue to London Liverpool Street and change for an Elizabeth line service from the lower level station or alternatively change at Stratford (London) for the Central / Jubilee Line.

Heathrow passengers:

Passengers travelling to Heathrow are advised to change at London Liverpool Street and use the lower level station for a Terminal 4 service. For Terminal 5 change at Terminal 2 / Terminal 3 for a Heathrow Express service.
