Between Inverness and Wick / Thurso
Description
A points failure because of snowy and icy conditions in the Georgemas Junction area is causing disruption to the line between Inverness and Wick / Thurso. As a result, trains may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
This disruption is expected until the end of the day.
All services between Inverness and Wick will not call at Thurso.

The following services will be affected:
06:18 Wick to Inverness will be started from Lairg
07:00 Inverness to Wick will be terminated at Lairg
12:34 Wick to Inverness will be cancelled
The 07:00 service has rail replacement in place between Inverness and Wick stopping at Lairg.
The 12:34 service has rail replacement arranged from Wick and Thurso to run to Inverness.
All rail replacement will run subject to road conditions. Please be aware snowy / icy conditions are forecasted.
You can use your ticket, at no additional cost, on ScotRail services via any reasonable route to your destination.
If you have had to drive to another station your ticket will be valid to collect your car on your return journey. Speak to a member of staff to validate your ticket.
Customers with tickets dated, Friday 2nd January, will be able to use them on services on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th January at no extra cost.
