Description

A safety inspection of the track between Liverpool Lime Street and Warrington Central means that all lines are blocked. As a result, trains running between these stations may be cancelled or delayed.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Train services are unable to run between Liverpool Lime Street and Warrington Central in both directions and the following routes will be affected:

  • Manchester Oxford Road to Liverpool Lime Street via Warrington Central

  • Liverpool Lime Street to Warrington Central


Services between Manchester Airport and Liverpool Lime Street are able to call at all stations as normal however may be affected by this disruption.

You can travel on the next Northern service to your destination, where available.

You can also travel on TransPennine Express services between Liverpool Lime Street and Manchester Stations in both directions.
