Description
Following a points failure at Wilmslow, all lines have reopened. Whilst service recovers, trains running between Stockport and Wilmslow may be delayed by up to 10 minutes or revised.
Disruption is expected until 11:00.

Network Rail are aware of the fault and engineers are on site.
Alternative travel suggestions:
Services running between Manchester Piccadilly and Crewe via Stockport / Manchester Airport are not impacted by this disruption in both directions.
Northern train ticket restrictions have been lifted in the affected areas, including Advance and Peak restrictions, during this disruption. Restrictions will be reinstated once the disruption ends.
