Description
Following a points failure at Wilmslow all lines have reopened. As service recovers, trains running through this station may still be delayed by up to 25 minutes, revised or diverted.
Disruption is expected until 17:30.
Northern customer advice:
Services at Wilmslow are being disrupted due to a points failure.
Train services are now able to run between Wilmslow and Stockport in both directions.
Services on the following routes can now run as normal but may still be delayed in the Wilmslow area.
Between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly via Stockport
Between Alderley Edge and Manchester Piccadilly via Stockport
Northern services between Crewe and Manchester Piccadilly via Manchester Airport are not affected.
