Description

A problem with the station lighting at Wimbledon Chase means that all lines are disrupted.

Trains will not serve Wimbledon Chase as a result and will be cancelled.

This is expected until 22:30.

Customer advice:

Wimbledon Chase station is not being served. This is due to a failure of the station lighting on the entrance and exit route.

Thameslink services will run non-stop through this station.

To help you complete your journey, your ticket will be accepted on the following local alternatives at no extra cost:

  • London Buses across the local area

  • London Trams serving Merton Park (on the route between Wimbledon and Mitcham Junction), which is a 16 minute distance from Wimbledon Chase

You can also use Wimbledon or South Merton stations as alternatives, also at no extra cost.
