Description

A shortage of train crew being available, means that fewer trains are able to run to / from Windermere. As a result, trains running between Windermere and Oxenholme Lake District will be cancelled.

Disruption is expected until 10:30.

Customer advice:

Rail replacement transport has been requested to operate between Windermere and Oxenholme Lake District as follows:

  • Departing Oxenholme at 08:35 / 0940 calling at Kendal and Windermere

  • Departing Oxenholme at 08:35 / 09:40 calling all stations to Windermere

  • Departing Windermere at 08:20 / 10:10 Calling at Kendal and Oxenholme

  • Departing Windermere at 08:20 / 10:10 Calling all stations to Oxenholme

Please check station information posters for the location of the bus pick up points and be advised that bicycles, e-bikes and dogs (except for service dogs) are not permitted on replacement road transport.

Journey times will be extended by 30 minutes whilst travelling by road transport.
