Description
Lines have now reopened following a points failure at Wolverhampton. However, whilst service recovers, trains will be delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.
Major disruption is expected until 16:45.

Trains will not call at Sandwell & Dudley and Wolverhampton.
Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on CrossCountry services between Stafford and Coventry in both directions until further notice.
Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on London Northwestern / West Midlands Railway services between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street in both directions until further notice.
Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on Transport for Wales services between Crewe and Birmingham New Street in both directions until further notice.
If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.
If you no longer wish to travel because your train is delayed or cancelled, you can request a full refund from where you bought your ticket.

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
Unfortunately, any seat reservations will not be carried over to another train, but Coach B, H and L are the unreserved coaches on CrossCountry services (where available) so please head to them.

1x Q&S Coaches Stafford to Wolverhampton via Penkridge
2x Wolverhampton to Bilbrook then run to Birmingham New Street calling at all stations
If you chose to drive your car and park at a station on one of the routes below because of this disruption, your rail ticket will be valid to travel back to the same station later in the day to collect your car.
