Description

Following the emergency services dealing with an incident between Rugby and Watford Junction all lines have now reopened. As service recovers, trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 60 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Your ticket can be used on the following, at no extra cost (in both directions):

• Chiltern Railways between London Marylebone and Birmingham Moor Street

• CrossCountry services between Coventry and Manchester Piccadilly

• London Northwestern Railway services between:

  • London Euston and Crewe

  • London Euston and Liverpool Lime Street via Birmingham New Street

If your train is cancelled, your ticket is valid on one of the two Avanti West Coast services immediately before your booked train, or one of the two immediately after.

If you have a First Class ticket, different operators will usually accept it wherever they can, but might offer a different type of service.

If you no longer wish to travel because your train is delayed or cancelled, you can request a full refund from where you bought your ticket.
