Between Holyhead and Birmingham International / Cardiff Central, and also between Wrexham General and Bidston

Description

A fault with the signalling system at Wrexham General means that all lines are disrupted. As a result, trains running through Wrexham General may be cancelled or delayed by up to 70 minutes or revised.

Disruption is expected until 12:00.

Trains running between Wrexham General and Chester / Wrexham Central / Shrewsbury will be cancelled.

Trains running between Wrexham General and Bidston may be replaced by bus services or delayed by up to 70 minutes.

Rail replacement transport:

Rail replacement buses have been organised by Keanes and Pats Coaches and confirmed to run as follows:

  • 08:45 - Wrexham General to Bidston

  • 09:00 - Bidston to Wrexham General

Please note that rail replacement transport will take longer than rail services.
