Between Birmingham New Street and Bournemouth

Description

A shortage of train crew between Birmingham New Street and Bournemouth means fewer trains will be able to run between these stations. Trains running between these stations may be revised.

Disruption is expected until the end of the day.

Customer advice:

Your ticket can be used at no extra cost on the following services:

  • Avanti West Coast services between Birmingham New Street and London Euston

  • Chiltern services between Birmingham Moor Street and Banbury

  • Earlier / later CrossCountry services

  • Great Western Railway services between Banbury and Basingstoke

  • London Underground services as required

  • South Western Railway services between Bournemouth and London Waterloo

Passengers with tickets dated Monday, 17 August may use them on CrossCountry services on Tuesday, 18 August without needing to amend them.

If you decide to travel from a different station due to this disruption and need to return to that station later, you will also be able to use your existing ticket to do this at no extra cost.
