Description
A shortage of train drivers available between Penzance and Bristol Temple Meads means that fewer trains than normal are able to run.
As a result, CrossCountry are running a reduced service between these stations and some services will be cancelled.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
Customer advice:
If your train is cancelled, you may use your ticket on the two CrossCountry train services operating before or the two CrossCountry train services after your cancelled service.
Alternatively, you may use your ticket on the following services and routes at no extra cost:
Great Western Railway services on all routes
You do not need to amend your ticket to use it on these services
Road transport:
Buses / taxis / coaches have been requested to operate between Taunton and Bristol Parkway, however there are no available operators in the area all day
Please speak to a member of station staff if you are unable to make it to your final destination by train or use the customer help point if the station is unstaffed
