c2c services during Christmas and New Year 2019/20

Please find below a day-by-day summary of the services that c2c will be running over the Christmas and New Year Bank Holiday period.

Monday 23 December

 

Normal service.

Tuesday 24 December

 

Basildon line:

Normal morning Peak. From approximately 10:00, an amended service is planned to run.

Last trains will be: 20:26 Shoeburyness – London Fenchurch Street (All stations); 20:41 Shoeburyness – London Fenchurch Street (All stations, except Pitsea & West Horndon); 22:04 London Fenchurch Street – Shoeburyness (All stations).

Ockendon line:

Normal morning Peak. From approximately 10:00, an amended service is planned to run.

Last trains will be: 20:12 Southend Central – London Fenchurch Street; 21:41 London Fenchurch Street – Shoeburyness.

Rainham line:

Normal morning Peak. From approximately 10:00, an amended service is planned to run.

Last trains will be: 21:10 Grays – London Fenchurch Street; 22:40 Grays – Barking; 21:55 London Fenchurch Street – Grays.

Wednesday 25 December

 

No service.

Thursday 26 December

 

No service.

Friday 27 December

 

Basildon line:

Special service. Four trains per hour, in both directions will be provided for most of the day. Two trains per hour will call at all stations and two trains per hour will be semi-fast. During the morning and evening peak periods, additional trains will be provided.

Ockendon line:

Special service. Two trains per hour, in both directions, will be provided for most of the day.

Rainham line:

Due to Network Rail undertaking engineering work in connection with the Barking Riverside Project, these services WILL NOT RUN.

Replacement buses will run between Upminster and Grays via Rainham.

Ticket Acceptance: Passengers travelling to / from Dagenham Dock may use TfL bus routes EL2 or 287.

Saturday 28 December

 

Basildon line:

Due to engineering work in connection with the Crossrail Project, services will be diverted to start from / terminate at London Fenchurch Street and will call additionally at West Ham.

Passengers in possession of a valid rail ticket and travelling to / from Stratford may use the London Underground Jubilee Line between West Ham and Stratford at no extra charge. London Liverpool Street Station is a short walk away from London Fenchurch Street Station.

Ockendon line:

A revised service will run.

Rainham line:

Due to Network Rail undertaking engineering work in connection with the Barking Riverside Project, these services WILL NOT RUN.

Basildon line:

Due to overnight track maintenance work between Leigh-on-Sea and Pitsea, until 05:30, the line towards London will be closed. Services will use the line from London. 04:15 Shoeburyness – London Fenchurch Street will run up to 3 minutes EARLIER between Shoeburyness and Pitsea. 04:59 Shoeburyness – London Fenchurch Street will run up to 3 minutes EARLIER between Shoeburyness and Pitsea.

Please Note: The above services will use Leigh-on-Sea Platform 2 and Benfleet Platform 2.

After 05:30 a normal service will run.

Ockendon line:

Due to overnight track maintenance work between Leigh-on-Sea and Pitsea, until 05:30, the line towards London will be closed. Services will use the line from London. 04:06 Thorpe Bay – London Fenchurch Street will run up to 3 minutes EARLIER between Thorpe Bay and Pitsea.  04:35 Thorpe Bay – London Fenchurch Street will run up to 2 minutes EARLIER between Thorpe Bay and Pitsea. 05:07 Thorpe Bay – London Fenchurch Street will run up to 3 minutes EARLIER between Thorpe Bay and Pitsea.

Please Note: The above services will use Leigh-on-Sea Platform 2 and Benfleet Platform 2.

After 05:30 a normal service will run.
