UPDATE: Due to strike action by the RMT Union, CrossCountry will only be able to run a limited timetable on Christmas Eve.

CrossCountry are advising customers NOT TO TRAVEL on their services on Friday 24 December.

No service on Christmas Day.

Sunday 26 December

 

No service on Boxing Day.

Monday 27 December

 

Engineering work between Cheltenham Spa and Bristol Parkway means that trains will be unable to call at Bristol Parkway. Journey times through the area will be extended by one hour. Trains will call additionally at Gloucester and Newport. Rail replacement road transport will operate between Cheltenham Spa and Bristol Parkway.

Engineering work at Leeds means trains arriving at and departing from Leeds will be re-timed by a few minutes.

Engineering work between Glasgow Central and Motherwell means that buses will replace trains between these stations.

Tuesday 28 December

 

Engineering work between Cheltenham Spa and Bristol Parkway means that trains will be unable to call at Bristol Parkway. Journey times through the area will be extended by one hour. Should the strike be called off or suspended, the following information will apply. Please check before you travel.

Services will finish earlier than normal on New Year's Eve.

From 20:00 shutdown of train operations will commence, and last trains to destinations will be earlier than scheduled. Please check before you travel.

Engineering work between Glasgow Central and Motherwell means that buses will replace trains between these stations.

Saturday 1 January 2022

 

Engineering work between Cambridge and Audley End means buses will replace trains between Cambridge and Stansted Airport.

Engineering work between Winchester and Southampton Central means trains will not call at Winchester or Southampton Airport Parkway. Journey times will be extended by 45 minutes.

Engineering work at Leeds means trains arriving at and departing from Leeds will be re-timed by a few minutes.

Sunday 2 January

 

Engineering work between Winchester and Southampton Central means buses will operate between Southampton Airport Parkway, Southampton Central and Bournemouth.

Engineering work at Leeds means trains cannot call at Leeds station. Buses will run between Leeds and Sheffield, and between Leeds and York to connect with train services.

Engineering work between Birmingham New Street and University means trains will not call at University. Buses will run between Birmingham New Street and University in both directions to connect with train services.

Monday 3 January

 

Engineering work at Leeds means trains arriving at and departing from Leeds will be re-timed by a few minutes.
