Southeastern services during Christmas and New Year 2020/2021

Please find below a day-by-day summary of the services that Southeastern will be running over the Christmas and New Year Bank Holiday period.

This information is subject to change due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, please check before you travel.

Wednesday 23 December

 

Southeastern's reduced timetable will be operating.

The following changes will be made due to engineering work:

From 01:05 a bus will replace the last train of the night between Lewisham and Dartford via Woolwich.

04:38 Swanley to London Victoria service will start from Orpington at 04:41. A bus will leave Swanley at 03:59 calling at all stations to Bromley South to connect with the train.

Thursday 24 December

 

Southeastern's reduced timetable will be operating. Services across the network will finish earlier, with no trains running after approximately 22:00.

The following changes will be made due to engineering work:

From 01:05 a bus will replace the last train of Wednesday night between Lewisham and Dartford via Woolwich.

Friday 25 December

 

No service.

Saturday 26 December

 

No service.

Sunday 27 December

 

An amended Sunday timetable will be operating, subject to engineering work.

The following changes will be made due to engineering work:

Buses will replace trains between Lewisham and Hayes.

Buses replace trains between Ramsgate and Dover Priory. London St Pancras International "rounder" services will be amended, and will be retimed to depart earlier or later than usual, and will not run between Ramsgate and Dover Priory.

No trains will run to or from London Waterloo East or London Charing Cross.

Trains that usually run between London Charing Cross and Dover / Ramsgate via Tonbridge / Paddock Wood will be amended to run to / from London Victoria instead.

Trains that run between London Charing Cross and Hastings will be amended to run to / from London Cannon Street instead.

Trains that usually run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Woolwich Arsenal will be amended to run to / from London Cannon Street instead.

Trains that usually run between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks via Grove Park will be amended to run to / from London Cannon Street instead.

Trains that usually run between London Charing Cross and Gravesend via Sidcup will be amended to run to / from London Cannon Street, and will call at all stations between London Cannon Street and Hither Green.

Monday 28 December

 

A reduced timetable will be operating, subject to engineering work.

The following changes will be made due to engineering work:

Buses will replace trains between Lewisham and Hayes.

No trains will run to or from London Waterloo East or London Charing Cross.

Trains that usually run between London Charing Cross and Dover / Ramsgate via Tonbridge / Paddock Wood will be amended to run to / from London Victoria instead.

Trains that run between London Charing Cross and Hastings will be amended to run to / from London Cannon Street instead.

Trains that usually run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Woolwich Arsenal will be amended to run to / from London Cannon Street instead. Trains between London Cannon Street and Barnehurst via Woolwich will not run.

Trains that usually run between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks via Grove Park will be amended to run to / from London Cannon Street instead. Trains that run between London Charing Cross and Orpington will not run.

Trains between London Cannon Street and Barnehurst and between London Charing Cross and Dartford (both via Bexleyheath), will not run. Services between London Victoria and Gravesend will run as usual.

Trains between London Charing Cross and Gravesend via Sidcup will not run. Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Sidcup will run normally, and trains between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Sidcup will run to / from London Cannon Street instead.

Trains between Grove Park and Bromley North will be retimed to run a half-hourly service.

Tuesday 29 December

 

A reduced timetable will be operating, subject to engineering work.

The following changes will be made due to engineering work:

Buses will replace trains between Lewisham and Hayes.

No trains will run to or from London Waterloo East or London Charing Cross.

Trains that usually run between London Charing Cross and Dover / Ramsgate via Tonbridge / Paddock Wood will be amended to run to / from London Victoria instead.

Trains that run between London Charing Cross and Hastings will be amended to run to / from London Cannon Street instead.

Trains that usually run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Woolwich Arsenal will be amended to run to / from London Cannon Street instead. Trains between London Cannon Street and Barnehurst via Woolwich will not run.

Trains that usually run between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks via Grove Park will be amended to run to / from London Cannon Street instead. Trains that run between London Charing Cross and Orpington will not run.

There will be no additional late night services from London.

Friday 1 January 2021

 

A reduced timetable will be operating, subject to engineering work.

The following changes will be made due to engineering work:

Buses will replace trains between Plumstead and Dartford, calling at all stations. Trains that usually run between London Charing Cross and Dartford will be amended to run between London Charing Cross and Plumstead only.

Replacement buses will run between Sevenoaks and Maidstone East, and between Maidstone East and Ashford International. Connecting minibuses will run to / from East Malling.

Services that usually run between London Victoria and Canterbury West will not run. Services that usually run between London Victoria and Ramsgate will be amended to additionally call at Chilham and Chartham.

Buses will replace trains between Lewisham and Hayes.

Trains between London Charing Cross and Hastings / Tunbridge Wells will be retimed.

Trains between London Charing Cross and Dover / Ramsgate via Tonbridge will run from London Victoria instead.

Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Sidcup will not run. Replacement buses will run between Lewisham and Charlton via New Cross and Greenwich. You will be able to use Docklands Light Railway at no extra cost between Lewisham and Greenwich

Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Greenwich will not run.

Saturday 2 January

 

A reduced timetable will be operating, subject to engineering work.

Due to engineering work between London Cannon Street and Lewisham / Charlton:

London Cannon Street: No service

Bromley North Line: Trains will be retimed and run half hourly

Bromley South Line: Stopping services between London Victoria and Bromley South will be retimed. Replacement buses will run between Lewisham and Charlton via New Cross and Greenwich. You will be able to use Docklands Light Railway at no extra cost between Lewisham and Greenwich.

Grove Park Line: Stopping services between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks will call additionally at Lewisham. Stopping services between London Cannon Street and Orpington will not run.

Hayes Line: Buses will replace trains between Lewisham and Hayes

Hastings Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Hastings / Tunbridge Wells will be retimed

Paddock Wood Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Dover / Ramsgate via Tonbridge will run from London Victoria instead

Sidcup Line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Sidcup will not run. Trains between London Charing Cross and Gravesend will not run, and trains between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Sidcup will stop additionally at Lewisham

Woolwich Line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Greenwich will not run.

Sunday 3 January

 

A reduced timetable will be operating, subject to engineering work.

Due to engineering work between London Cannon Street and Lewisham / Charlton:

London Cannon Street: No service

Hastings Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Hastings / Tunbridge Wells will be retimed

Hayes Line: Buses will replace trains between Lewisham and Hayes

Paddock Wood Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Dover / Ramsgate via Tonbridge will run from London Victoria instead

Sidcup Line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Sidcup will not run. Trains between London Charing Cross and Gravesend will stop additionally at Lewisham. Replacement buses will run between Lewisham and Charlton via New Cross and Greenwich. You will be able to use Docklands Light Railway at no extra cost between Lewisham and Greenwich

Woolwich Line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Greenwich will not run.
