Changes to train times

 

Southeastern services during Christmas and New Year 2019/20

Please find below a day-by-day summary of the services that Southeastern will be running over the Christmas and New Year Bank Holiday period.

Monday 23 December

 

Normal service.

Tuesday 24 December

 

A normal Tuesday service will operate during the day, with a revised evening peak Mainline London Cannon Street service. No trains will operate after approximately 22:00.

Wednesday 25 December

 

No service.

Thursday 26 December

 

No service.

Friday 27 December

 

A Saturday level of service will operate with additional peak time London Cannon Street services.

Engineering work is taking place between Ashford International and Canterbury West. There will be no High Speed services via Ashford International. Replacement buses will operate between Ashford International and Canterbury West and between Ashford International and Ebbsfleet International.

Saturday 28 December

 

Saturday service.

Engineering work is taking place between Ashford International and Canterbury West. There will be no High Speed services via Ashford International. Replacement buses will operate between Ashford International and Canterbury West and between Ashford International and Ebbsfleet International.

Sunday 29 December

 

Sunday service.

Engineering work is taking place on the following routes:

Between Ashford International and Canterbury West. There will be no High Speed services via Ashford International. Replacement buses will operate between Ashford International and Canterbury West and between Ashford International and Ebbsfleet International.

In the Denmark Hill area. On the Bexleyheath line, all London Victoria to Dartford services will run from London Charing Cross instead. On the Sole Street line, all London Victoria to Canterbury East services will run via the Herne Hill route and will not stop at Denmark Hill.

Between St Johns and Crayford, buses will replace trains between Lewisham and Dartford via Sidcup. Trains that usually run via Sidcup will be diverted to run on the Bexleyheath line instead.

Monday 30 December

 

Saturday service with additional peak time services to/from London Cannon Street.

Tuesday 31 December

 

Saturday service with additional peak time services to/from London Cannon Street.

After midnight, additional services will run from London Charing Cross, London Bridge and London Victoria for New Years revellers attending South Bank events. (These will also pick up all stations for anyone attending events outside of London.)

Wednesday 1 January 2020

 

Sunday service.

Engineering work is taking place on the following routes:

Between Lewisham and Petts Wood, and between Lewisham and Crayford. Buses will replace trains between Lewisham and Orpington via Grove Park, and between Lewisham and Dartford via Sidcup. Trains that normally run via Sidcup will operate through Bexleyheath instead.

Between Folkestone and Deal / Canterbury East. Buses will replace trains between Folkestone West and Deal, and between Canterbury East and Dover Priory. There are also changes to services on the High Speed, Paddock Wood and Sole Street lines.

Between Otford and Ashford International. Buses will replace trains between Sevenoaks and Maidstone East, and between Maidstone East and Ashford International.
