Engineering work is taking place between Reading and Bedwyn, closing all lines from 21:00 on Saturday until 08:50 on Sunday and also from 21:00 on Sunday.


From 21:10 on Saturday, trains between Reading and Newbury / Bedwyn will not run. Buses will run in place of trains between Reading and Newbury / Bedwyn.

The 17:28 Newquay to London Paddington service will divert via Bristol Temple Meads, not calling at stations between Taunton and Reading.


Until 08:50 and from approximately 20:00, buses will replace trains between Reading and Newbury / Bedwyn.

Additionally, from approximately 20:30 some High Speed services between the West of England and London Paddington which run via Newbury will divert via Bristol Temple Meads, not calling at stations between Taunton and Reading.

Customers travelling to Pewsey are advised to travel via Swindon and use the replacement bus running between Swindon and Pewsey. Customers for Newbury are advised to travel as far as Reading then use the replacement bus to travel to Newbury.
