LNER between London Kings Cross and Inverness

Engineering work is taking place between Edinburgh and Linlithgow, closing some lines.

The 09:40 Inverness to London Kings Cross and the 12:00 London Kings Cross to Inverness services will both be diverted between Edinburgh and Perth. Replacement buses will run between Edinburgh and Perth, calling at Falkirk Grahamston, Stirling and Gleneagles.


Buses replace trains between:

  • Edinburgh and Linlithgow.
  • Edinburgh and Falkirk Grahamston.

Services between Edinburgh and Perth via Stirling will be diverted, and will not stop between Edinburgh and Perth. Customers for intermediate stations should use replacement buses and amended train services from Falkirk Grahamston towards Perth.
