Description

Engineering work is taking place between Kilmarnock and Carlisle, closing various parts of the line.

Friday 12th July

The 23:13 Glasgow to Dumfries service will terminate Kilmarnock. Two replacement buses will run from Kilmarnock to Dumfries.

One express bus will run direct from Kilmarnock to Dumfries. The second will call all stops from Kilmarnock to Dumfries

Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th July

Buses replace trains between Kilmarnock / Dumfries and Carlisle.

Monday 15th to Thursday 25th July

Buses replace trains between Kilmarnock and Dumfries.

Express buses will operate to connect with journeys to Newcastle.

Friday 26th July

The 05:13 and 05:45 Dumfries to Glasgow will start from Kilmarnock.

Buses will depart Dumfries at 04:01 & 04:31, calling all stations, arriving at Kilmarnock to connect into a train to Glasgow

Trains will run as normal between Dumfries and Carlisle
