Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Central and Bristol Parkway, closing most lines.

Great Western Railway:

Both days services will be replaced by a bus between Cardiff Central and Bristol Parkway.

On Saturday the 05:59 Swansea to London Paddington will NOT run.

On Sunday the following alterations will apply:

  • 08:01 Exeter St Davids to Bristol Temple Meads will extend to Bristol Parkway.
  • 08:48 Bristol Temple Meads to Cardiff Central will depart earlier at 08:10.
  • 14:16 and 16:12 Bristol Temple Meads to Bristol Parkway will NOT run.
  • 19:12 London Paddington to Swansea will NOT run.


On Saturday and Sunday buses will replace trains between Cardiff Central / Newport and Chepstow.

Transport for Wales:

All weekend buses will replace trains between Cardiff Central and Ebbw Vale Town / Chepstow / Cwmbran.
