Engineering work is taking place between Havant and Barnham, closing some lines.

Great Western Railway:

To Brighton:

The 07:09 Portsmouth Harbour to Brighton will NOT run. Customers to use alternative services.

The 10:48 Great Malvern to Brighton will divert after Cosham to Fratton, Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour.

Customers for South Coast stations and Brighton change en-route for road / rail services.

From Brighton:

The 08:59 Brighton to Great Malvern and 17:02 Brighton to Bristol Temple Meads will start from Portsmouth Harbour, calling Portsmouth & Southsea and Fratton before regaining normal route from Cosham.

Customers from Brighton and South Coast stations travel by Southern rail / road services at EARLIER than normal train times, connecting en-route into these trains. 


It is not yet known how Southern will be affected by this engineering work.
