Great Western Railway between Romsey / Cardiff Central / Bristol Temple Meads / Portsmouth Harbour / Great Malvern and Brighton

Southern between Portsmouth Harbour and Brighton / London Victoria / Littlehampton / Barnham

Description

Engineering work is taking place between Havant and Barnham, closing all lines. As a result, the following changes will apply:

Great Western Railway 

Trains between Cardiff Central / Romsey and Brighton will be diverted at Cosham to run between Cardiff Central / Romsey and Portsmouth Harbour.

On Saturday 30 November, the 06:50 Portsmouth Harbour to Brighton service will be cancelled throughout. 

On Sunday 1 December, the 21:46 Brighton to Portsmouth Harbour service will be cancelled throughout. 

Customers may use Southern services on reasonable routes. Please note, you may need to travel on an earlier Southern service in order to connect with your intended Great Western Railway service.

Southern 

It is not yet known how Southern will be affected by this engineering work.
