Description

Engineering work is taking place between Swanley and Rochester, closing some lines.

Trains via Sole Street:

Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate / Dover Priory will be diverted between London Victoria and Rochester to run via Strood.

On Saturday, there will only be one service each hour which will divide at Faversham with part of the train calling at stations to Ramsgate, and the other part of the train will be for stations to Dover Priory. The stopping service between London Victoria and Dover Priory / Canterbury East via Denmark Hill will not run.

On Sunday, the Ramsgate portion of the train will only run between Faversham and Margate as a result of further engineering work.

Trains via Sheerness-on-Sea:

Trains between Sittingbourne and Sheerness-on-Sea will be retimed. 

Trains via Bexleyheath:

On Saturday only, the Victoria to Gravesend via Bexleyheath service will not run. Passengers should use alternative trains from Charing Cross, Waterloo East, London Bridge or Cannon Street.

Replacement road transport will operate on the following routes:

  • Between Swanley and Rochester
  • A mini bus will run between Meopham and Strood

Ticket acceptance:

Customers will be able to use their tickets at no extra cost on the following alternative routes:

  • London Underground between Victoria / Embankment / Charing Cross / Waterloo / Southwark & London Bridge
  • London Buses between Denmark Hill and Lewisham (on Saturday only)
