Great Western Railway High Speed services between London Paddington and Exeter St Davids / Plymouth / Penzance and Local services between London Paddington / Reading and Bedwyn / Newbury / Westbury

Engineering work is taking place between Reading West and Aldermaston until 12:50 on Sunday, closing all lines.

High Speed services:

Trains will be diverted between Reading and Westbury to run via Swindon, with some trains making an additional stop at Swindon. Some trains will not call at Pewsey, customers for Pewsey should change at Swindon for replacement bus transport to / from Pewsey / Newbury.

Trains will be retimed to run earlier / later than usual, or will be cancelled.

Local services:

Trains running between Reading and Bedwyn / Newbury before 12:50 will be replaced by buses. In order to maintain timings at stations, buses will run earlier than usual.

Additionally, the 12:38 Bedwyn to London Paddington service will be retimed to start at 13:00 and will terminate at Reading for rail connections towards London. The 14:39 Bedwyn to London Paddington service will start at 14:53, and will run later throughout.
