Description

Engineering work is taking place between Cardiff Central and Bridgend, closing all lines via Pontyclun.

Great Western Railway:

Most services between London Paddington and Swansea / Carmarthen will be diverted to run on an alternative route, extending journey times by up to 25 minutes. Some services will be cancelled throughout.

Services running from Carmarthen / Swansea towards Cardiff Central / London Paddington will be retimed, and will run up to 25 minutes earlier than usual.

Transport for Wales:

Trains will be diverted between Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Barry and will not call at stations via Pontyclun.

Replacement buses will run between Cardiff Central and Bridgend via Pontyclun.
