East Midlands Railway between Norwich and Liverpool Lime Street

Northern between Sheffield and Nottingham, and also between Sheffield and Scarborough

Description

Engineering work is taking place in the Chesterfield and Sheffield area, closing some lines.

CrossCountry:

Train services to / from Scotland will divert via an alternative route, and will additionally call at Doncaster. Journey times will be extended by up to an hour.

Services that usually run between Reading and Newcastle will run between Reading and Derby only.

East Midlands Railway:

Trains will not be able to run to / from Dronfield. Customers to / from Dronfield should use Northern trains / buses to complete their journey.

Northern:

Buses replace trains between Sheffield and Nottingham.

Additionally, Services between Sheffield and Scarborough will run between Meadowhall and Scarborough only. Local Northern services between Sheffield and Doncaster / Goole / Hull will continue to run to / from Sheffield.
