Description

Due to late notice engineering work taking place to the Signalling Centre at Upminster, there will be no train service until 14:00.

The following alterations will apply to services:-

Basildon Line -

Buses replace trains between Upminster and Shoeburyness via Laindon. These buses will run non-stop between Upminster and Basildon.

An additional bus replacement service will run between Laindon and Basildon. If you are travelling from Laindon towards Shoeburyness, you will need to change buses at Basildon. If you are travelling from Laindon towards London, please take the bus to Basildon then another bus back towards London.

Buses will also run between Upminster and Southend Central and between Upminster and West Hordon.

There is no bus service running between West Horndon and Laindon. Staff at these stations will help you in arranging onward travel.

Ockenden Line -

Buses replace trains between Upminster and Pitsea via Ockenden.

Rail replacement buses will also run between Stanford-le-Hope & Leigh-on-Sea.

Rainham Line -

Buses replace trains between Upminster and Grays via Rainham.

A timetable for all the replacement buses can be found here. To assist you in identifying the correct service, a rail replacement bus identification number is at the top of each column - these will correspond with the numbers on display on the windscreen of the buses.

Please note that buses may arrive up to 5 minutes later than scheduled due to local traffic conditions.

Ticket Acceptance:

Until 14:00, c2c tickets will be accepted on London Underground District Line services between Tower Hill and Upminster, Jubilee Line services between West Ham and Stratford and Docklands Light Railway services between Limehouse and Stratford via Poplar.

Customers travelling to / from Dagenham Dock may use TfL bus routes EL2 or 287.

Customers in possession of a valid rail ticket and travelling to / from Stratford may use the London Underground Jubilee Line between West Ham and Stratford at no extra charge. London Liverpool Street Station is a short walk away from London Fenchurch Street Station.

Customers in possession of a valid monthly or longer duration season ticket may use Greater Anglia services between Southend Victoria and London Liverpool Street.

After 14:00:

Once services resume after 14:00, they will operate to a revised timetable.

Due to Network Rail undertaking engineering work in connection with the Crossrail Project, services will be diverted to start from / terminate at London Fenchurch Street and will call additionally at West Ham.

Due to Network Rail undertaking re-railing work at Pitsea and points maintenance work at Southend Central, services will start from / terminate at Stanford-le-Hope / Laindon and will be re-timed.
