Description

Overnight engineering work is taking place in the Stockport ares closing various lines from 23:20 until 05:05, each night, finishing at 05:05 Friday morning.

The following alterations will apply:

  • The 22:01 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly is retimed to depart Stockport at 23:22 and will call additionally at Heaton Chapel and Levenshulme arriving at Manchester Piccadilly at 23:35.
  • The 22:52 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly is replaced by a bus throughout.
  • The 23:08 Hazel Grove to Manchester Piccadilly will terminate at Stockport. Forward rail connections are available between Stockport and Manchester Piccadilly.
  • The 23:12 Crewe to Manchester Piccadilly is diverted between Wilmslow and Manchester Piccadilly via but not calling at Heald Green and will not call at stations via Cheadle Hulme. A bus will run between Wilmslow and Manchester Piccadilly via Cheadle Hulme calling at all stations.
  • The 23:14 Manchester Piccadilly to Macclesfield is replaced by a bus throughout.
  • The 23:24 Manchester Piccadilly to Hazel Grove is replaced by a bus between Stockport and hazel Grove.
  • The 23:38 Manchester Piccadilly to Crewe is diverted via but not calling at Heald Green and will not call at stations via Cheadle Hulme. A bus will run between Manchester Piccadilly and Crewe calling at all stations between Manchester Piccadilly and Wilmslow and then to set down only at stations between Wilmslow and Crewe. 
  • The 23:41 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester is replaced by a bus throughout.
