Description

Overnight engineering work is taking place at various locations from 22:20 until 05:05 each night, finishing at 05:05 Friday morning, closing various lines.

The following alterations will apply:

Monday to Thursday

  • The 22:48 London Paddington to Swansea is diverted between Swindon and Bristol Parkway, resulting in extended journey times after Bristol Parkway.
  • The 23:15 London Paddington to Oxford will call additionally at Didcot Parkway.
  • The 23:32 London Paddington to Cardiff Central is diverted between Reading and Bath Spa and will not call at Didcot Parkway, Swindon and Chippenham. Replacement buses will run between Reading and Chippenham, and also between Swindon and Bristol Temple Meads.

Tuesday to Friday 

  • The 04:53 Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington will start from Bristol Parkway and run via Bristol Temple Meads, then running non-stop to Swindon. 

Wednesday and Thursday

The engineering work affecting these trains has been cancelled, and the three trains below will run as normal:

  • The 21:50 London Paddington to Worcester Shrub Hill service.
  • The 22:00 Hereford to London Paddington service.
  • The 22:50 London Paddington to Worcestershire Parkway service.
