Engineering work is taking place overnight at various locations on the Great Western Railway network, closing some lines.

Monday to Thursday

  • 22:37 Worcester Shrub Hill to Bristol Temple Meads will terminate Gloucester. A replacement bus will depart at 23:23 from Gloucester to Bristol Parkway and Bristol Temple Meads.
  • 23:42 Swindon to Cheltenham Spa will be diverted (via Severn Tunnel Junction). It will NOT call Kemble, Stroud and Stonehouse. It will terminate at GLOUCESTER at 01:15. A replacement bus will depart at 23:42 from Swindon to Kemble, Stroud, Stonehouse Post Office, Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa. Swindon to Gloucester customers should use the train.

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

  • 22:48 London Paddington to Swansea will be diverted between Swindon and Bristol Parkway arriving at 00:33. It will depart Bristol Parkway 00:40, then operate up to 20 minutes later than normal beyond.

Tuesday to Friday

  • 04:53 Bristol Temple Meads to London Paddington will start from Bristol Parkway at 04:35, before calling at Bristol Temple Meads, where the train will change direction of travel. It will then be diverted via an alternate route. The train will run as planned from Swindon.
