Great Western Railway services between London Paddington / Reading and Taunton / Exeter St Davids / Paignton / Plymouth / Penzance via Castle Cary

Engineering work is taking place between Castle Cary and Taunton. As some lines will be closed, this will mean a reduced line capacity will be available between these stations.

Most trains between London and Somerset / Devon / Cornwall that run via Castle Cary will be diverted, calling additionally at Bristol Temple Meads. These trains will be retimed, and may run up to 20 minutes earlier than usual.

A reduced two hourly service will run between London Paddington and Exeter St Davids / Paignton / Plymouth via Westbury and Castle Cary, calling at all stations.
