Engineering work is taking place in and around Westbury station, closing some lines.

All weekend

Trains will be re-timed and some trains may depart / arrive a few minutes later than normal.


The 09:15 Penzance to London Paddington will depart earlier at 09:13.

The 23:45 Bristol Temple Meads to Frome will terminate at Westbury. A replacement bus service will operate forwards.

Saturday and Sunday

Trains will be diverted between Westbury and Bruton and will not call at Frome.

Replacement buses will run between Westbury and Frome and between Frome and Bruton. Some buses will be extended to / from Castle Cary.

South Western Railway


The 07:39 Castle Cary to Salisbury is diverted and will not call at Frome.

The 08:50 London Waterloo to Frome will terminate at Salisbury.

The 11:30 Frome to Salisbury will start from Westbury.


The 09:50 Yeovil Junction to Salisbury.

17:45 London Waterloo to Yeovil Pen Mill will terminate at Salisbury.
