Description

Engineering work is taking place between Wakefield Westgate and Leeds via Outwood, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

Trains will be diverted, not calling at Wakefield Westgate. Replacement buses will replace trains between Sheffield and Wakefield Westgate, and also between Wakefield Westgate and Leeds.

East Midlands Railway:

Trains will start / terminate at Sheffield. Customers should use alternative services provided by other train companies between Sheffield and Leeds.

LNER:

A reduced train service will run to / from Leeds, with trains being diverted between Leeds and Doncaster and not calling at Wakefield Westgate. A replacement bus service will run between Doncaster and Wakefield Westgate.

Northern:

Trains between Doncaster / Sheffield and Leeds will start / terminate at Wakefield Westgate. Buses will replace trains between Wakefield Westgate and Leeds.

Trains between Leeds and Knottingley via Wakefield will be diverted via Castleford and will not call at Wakefield Westgate, Wakefield Kirkgate, Streethouse, Featherstone and Pontefract Tanshelf. Buses will replace trains between Leeds and Knottingley.
