Engineering work is taking place between Barnham and Angmering, closing various lines.

To Portsmouth Harbour / Brighton

The 08:19 Romsey to Brighton, also 10:24 and 12:25 Cardiff Central to Brighton and the 17:40 Cardiff Central to Portsmouth Harbour services will not run.

The 12:25 Cardiff Central to Brighton service will divert after Cosham to Fratton, Portsmouth & Southsea and Portsmouth Harbour. Customers for South Coast stations to Brighton change en-route onto alternative Southern rail / road services.

The 16:36 Cardiff Central to Brighton service will terminate Westbury.

From Brighton:

The 11:10 Brighton to Cardiff Central will start from Portsmouth Harbour, calling Portsmouth & Southsea and Fratton before regaining normal route from Cosham. Customers from Brighton and South Coast stations should travel earlier than normal train times by alternative Southern road / rail services, changing en-route.

The 15:47 and 17:46 Brighton to Bristol Temple Meads, and the 21:46 Brighton to Portsmouth Harbour services will not run. Customers to use alternative Southern road / rail services.

Some trains will call additionally (on request) at Dilton Marsh. 


Buses will replace trains between:

  • Angmering to Barnham calling at Littlehampton, Ford and Barnham
  • Angmering to Arundel calling at Littlehampton and Arundel
  • Arundel to Barnham calling at Barnham only.
