Description

Engineering work is taking place between Doncaster and Wakefield Westgate, closing all lines.

CrossCountry:

Trains will be diverted, not calling at Wakefield Westgate. Journey times between Leeds and York will be extended by a few minutes.

Replacement buses will run between Leeds and Wakefield Westgate, and also between Wakefield Westgate and Sheffield.

East Midlands Railway:

Services between Leeds and London St Pancras International will be retimed to depart up to 15 minutes earlier than usual, and will not call at Wakefield Westgate. Customers for Wakefield Westgate should use alternative services.

Grand Central:

Trains that usually run via Wakefield Westgate will be diverted and retimed to run earlier or later than usual, and will not call at Wakefield Westgate. Customers should use Wakefield Kirkgate station instead.

LNER:

Trains will be diverted between Leeds and Doncaster, running to an amended and reduced timetable. These trains will not call at Wakefield Westgate.

Replacement buses will run between Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster.

Northern:

Trains that usually run between Leeds and Doncaster via Outwood will be amended to run between Leeds and Wakefield Westgate only.

Trains that run between Leeds and Sheffield via Moorthorpe will be amended to run between Leeds and Wakefield Westgate, and also between Moorthorpe and Sheffield.

Replacement buses will run between Wakefield Westgate and Doncaster, and also between Wakefield Westgate and Sheffield.
