Description

Northern are operating a reduced service in line with current passenger numbers and government guidelines.

You can find the current timetables for each route here. This temporary timetable will run until at least Friday 12 February. A review will take place towards the end of January and we will advise as soon as possible whether the temporary timetable will be in place past this date.

When planning your journey, please check the latest government advice as restrictions may be in place. You can find more information about this here.

Advice from Northern on travelling with confidence on their services can be found here.

Check before you travel:
You can check your journey up to and including Friday 12 February using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner.

The standard Northern timetable is showing on journeys from Saturday 13 February onwards. Please bear in mind that this may be subject to change should the temporary timetable extend past Friday 12 February.

Please be aware that due to current restrictions on travel, train schedules may change at short notice. Your journey may also be subject to alteration due to engineering work, particularly on weekends and late night / early morning. Please check your journey as close as possible to the time of travel.
