Northern, along with the rest of the rail industry, are working to support efforts to delay the spread of coronavirus and to keep services running for essential travel.

How is this affecting the train service?

Northern have introduced a reduced timetable to ensure that vital train services for key workers can keep running throughout a prolonged coronavirus outbreak.

You can check your journey up to and including Saturday 4 April using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner
