TransPennine Express - Revised timetable and safe travel advice

Description

TransPennine Express are operating a reduced timetable, in line with current passenger demand and government guidelines.

From Monday 25 January, a temporary further reduced timetable will run on the Cleethorpes / Sheffield - Manchester Piccadilly / Manchester Airport route. More information can be found here.

From Monday 1 February, a temporary further reduced timetable will run on the "North" routes, which includes trains between Liverpool Lime Street and Newcastle, between Manchester Piccadilly and Leeds / Hull, between York and Scarborough, and between Manchester Airport and  Redcar Central. Check before you travel:

You can plan your journey up to Friday 29 January using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner.

Train times from Saturday 30 January may not be showing correctly in Journey Planners - please check again closer to the time of travel.

Please be aware that due to the current restrictions on travel, train schedules may change at short notice. We advise you to check your journey as close to the time of travel as possible.

Some weekend and late night / early morning services may also be affected by engineering work.
