TransPennine Express are operating a reduced timetable, in line with current passenger demand and government guidelines. The revised timetable, which is approximately 85% of the normal service, can be found here.

Please continue to follow the latest advice from government and public health officials. If you do travel by National Rail, please consider travelling at quieter times, carry hand sanitiser and follow social distancing guidelines. You must also wear a face covering, unless you are exempt.

What advice and information is available on crowding and social distancing?

You are advised to book your ticket online in advance but if you do use a ticket office or ticket machine, please use contactless payment where possible. Cash will be accepted if you have no alternative.

Quieter times on TransPennine Express trains are between 10:00 and 15:00 and after 18:00 - you are advised to travel during these times if you can.
