East Midlands Railway;

East Midlands Railway are operating a near-normal timetable, which is around 97% of normal service levels.

The current timetable can be found here.

Please continue to follow the latest advice from government and public health officials. If you do travel by National Rail, please consider travelling at quieter times, carry hand sanitiser and follow social distancing guidelines. You must also wear a face covering, unless you are exempt.

What advice and information is available on crowding and social distancing?

Social distancing measures will significantly reduce the number of customers allowed on East Midlands Railway trains – please check journey planners before you travel and avoid travelling at peak times.

Customers are advised to plan their journeys online where possible. To help customers with maintaining social distancing on the their services, East Midlands Railway have released a Seat Finder tool which shows how crowded trains are across their network. Please click here to visit the Seat Finder page.

The following stations have one-way systems in place:

Leicester: Please use the front of the station to enter and the northern footbridge leading to the car park to exit.

Peterborough: Between 06:00 and 20:00, there is a one-way system in place. To enable easier social distancing, you can enter and exit the station at different points. Please follow the signs or ask a member of staff if you are unsure.
