Northern between Sheffield and Doncaster / Leeds / Hull

TransPennine Express between Manchester Airport and Cleethorpes

Engineering work is taking place between Sheffield and Rotherham Central / Swinton, closing all lines.


Trains to / from Scotland will be diverted between Sheffield and Doncaster / Wakefield Westgate, extending journey times by a few minutes.

Trains between Reading / Birmingham New Street and Newcastle will be amended to run between Reading / Birmingham New Street and Sheffield only.

East Midlands Railway:

Services between York / Leeds and London St Pancras International will be retimed and amended, with several trains not calling at Wakefield Westgate. Some trains will run earlier or later than usual.


Buses will replace trains between Sheffield and Rotherham Central, and also between Sheffield and Doncaster.

An amended train service will run between Rotherham Central and Doncaster.

TransPennine Express:

TransPennine Express services will be diverted between Sheffield and Doncaster, and will not call at Meadowhall.

Customers to / from Meadowhall should use Sheffield Supertram to complete their journey. Please note that an additional ticket is required for this journey.
