Description

Engineering work is taking place in various places between Sheffield and Chesterfield, closing various lines.

As a result of this, the following alterations will apply:

CrossCountry

  • Reading to Newcastle services will be amended to only run between Reading and Derby.
  • Plymouth to Scotland services will be diverted to run via alternative routes additionally calling at Doncaster with journey times being extended by 30 minutes.

 

East Midlands Railway

  • Liverpool to Norwich services will be diverted between Chesterfield and Sheffield resulting in extended journey times.

 

Northern

  • Leeds / Sheffield to Nottingham services will start / terminate at Sheffield. Rail replacement buses will operate between Nottingham and Sheffield in both directions.
