Description

As part of a critical signalling upgrade project, engineering work will be taking place in the Hither Green area with buses replacing trains on some journeys.

Sidcup Line:

No trains will run between Sidcup and Lewisham. Trains will run between Sidcup and London via Crayford and Bexleyheath, or via Crayford and Woolwich Arsenal.

Replacement buses will run between Sidcup and Lewisham.

For journeys between Sidcup and Dartford, please travel to Abbey Wood and return on an alternative service.

Paddock Wood Line:

Trains between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate / Dover Priory will run to / from London Victoria instead and will not call at London Charing Cross, Waterloo East or London Bridge.

Hastings Line:

London Charing Cross to Hastings services will be retimed and will take an alternative route between London Bridge and Orpington. Services between London Charing Cross and Tunbridge Wells stopping services will not run.

Grove Park Line:

No trains will run between Lewisham and Petts Wood. Services between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks, and between London Cannon Street and Orpington services will be diverted and will not call at stations between London Bridge and Petts Wood.

Replacement buses will run between Lewisham and Orpington.

Bromley North Line:

Trains will not run between Grove Park & Bromley North.

Replacement buses will run between Lewisham and Orpington.

Ticket Acceptance:

Passengers can use London Underground between Victoria, Embankment (for London Charing Cross), Charing Cross, Waterloo, Southwark & London Bridge at no extra cost.

As there is limited capacity on London Buses due to social distancing, only Travelcards and Pay as you go (PAYG) will be accepted on London Buses. Tickets valid on National Rail services only, for example Sidcup to London Terminals, unfortunately cannot be used on London's buses.
